I’m not really sure what to put for my entry for this week’s Tuesday Travels. In fact, I was thinking of skipping it all together. Such a shame really. Good thing that I was browsing my old Friendster photos saw that I still have copies of our first trip to La Mesa Ecopark in Quezon City.
This was taken a few months after I gave birth to Una. We are located on the upper part of the park to hopefully have a peak at the La Mesa Dam. Unfortunately, they have huge barriers surrounding the top edge and made it difficult to actually enjoy the view of the dam.
Look at how high we had to climb just to see the view that we are supposed to appreciate. Good thing I had Una in a sling while we were climbing the stairs. I hugged those railings as if my life dependent on it, which is party true. It was a steep, tiring and scary climb.
Hi Gene, Thanks for the visit and the comment on my TT post last week. I have a new entry this week, hoping you can visit back. I posted a beach travel:-)
Gene, your place is nice. Could you add more pictures of those greenery? Wala dito yan, super flat. That is why, I am so proud of our country! Kahit papano, may wild fruits sa forest natin. Dito, wla but, dami wild animals:-) anyway…i truly love your pictures…and yap, you are so cute hehehe
You look so young in that picture. Even younger than 26 =)
I have the same sentiments. You can’t fully enjoy the dam because of the barrier. But I guess they’re after the safety of the people first.
Visiting you back here thru TT!
I love the first photo…so cute and sweet:) you look so young sis!
i love your photo sis, with Una snug in her baby sling! sooo cute! I have not been to La Mesa Ecopark although it is actually nearer to my place. It is on my list of “places to visit soon”..stopping by from TT 😀
Beautiful shots, sis. Beautiful place, too. And I love your photo composition, by the way.
Anyways, thanks for joining last week’s meme, sis. This week, we are still on travel photos of places:

Good that you were able to retrieve old photos from your Friendster account sis. I doubt if I can still access mine. Nakalimutan ko na password. 😀
